1963 Parisienne

I have been in Western Sask. visiting family and had the opportuity to drive a 63 Parisienne for the wife of a friend that passed away 5 years ago. Bill had a few cars... a 1967 Mustang fastback GTA, a 1973 Mustang (just sold) and a low mileage Chrysler he willed to the museum in Wetaskwin. However, the Parisienne belonged to his wife.

It is an absolutely gorgeous car...white 2 door hardtop, black bucket seat interior, floor shifted power glide, tilt wheel, 283 2 bbl, dual exhaust. The stainless trim is mint, body is straight and the interior is flawless with the exception of the sail panels that require minor work. It has the full wheel covers and the rubber is excellent. The car has 41441 original miles.

I started the car (after sitting for a couple of years) and drove it to the garage the 73 Mustang was in and parked it alongside the 67 GTA. The Parisienne is for sale and if I had the room I would be driving it home. The car can be bought for +- $7500. I managed to get a few numbers off the cowl tag as follows;

Style 7847, Body Number 761733, Paint C, Trim 942, A50, B55, W55 ? (hard to read) U63. The VIN is 37847615XX

If anyone wants the contact phone number let me know and I will put you in touch. By the way I blew the cobwebs out of the 67 Mustang...390 peg leg smoky burnout but no pictures...darn.

Yup, that's the car....interesting @ 10.5K. I rec'd a text the other night from the owner and she sold the Mustang last Saturday for a price in the mid 20's. Not a bad for a car that needed to be taken apart from stem to stern.

The 'make me an offer' is a nice way of saying I'll take less than the asking price...sort of like OBO. However, it is a very nice car and can be had for less than the asking price.

Cheers
Cal
