I can see them now. Looks like a time capsule! Love it. I just bought he current version of Auto Trader classic today, and there is an identical looking car (American version) I left it at work, or I'd post a pic. He wants BIG dollars. Same year, color. Nice ride!

A real beauty for sure. Are those curb feelers on the lower front fenders ? Have not seen those for years, neat.   My Dad used to put those on all his cars back in the 60's.

There was a time when I wouldn't have looked twice at a early 50's car like this. Going to cruise ins and talking with older guys and seeing these cars I have gained a true appreciation and respect for the cars of te 40's and 50's. The craftmanship and attention to detail is fascinating and incredible. This car is absolutely gorgeous from the front grille to the rear taillights. Thanks so much for posting your photos.

What a beauty! Love it!

I know a guy on PEI that has a bunch of NOS/MIP curb-feelers.

I cant say if this is the US version, but I happened to see them both on the same day, and thought they were the same. Similar anyway, and a 2 Dr. I'd take your Fleetleader Deluxe over a Catalina anyday. That visor changes the whole look in a great way IMO.

Nice looking Catalina
I was looking for a early 50s Pontiac ( grandparents had a 53 Chieftian when I was a kid) when I ran across the Fleetleader about 20 miles from home and fell in love with it right away.

I see that thes ecars are commanding highe rprices all the time. There are a few in the latest POCI for sale section all over $20 grand.

The way I tell a Canadian car from a US model is the taillights. Canadian cars are usually rectangular like a Chev, US cars are round.  smile

Al that sweet Pontiac of yours is a real BEAUTY. I have always loved the early GM cars. My dads first car was a 1952 Chevrolet that he bought in 1954. I love the fact that you have loaded up the car with factory and dealer accessories. I have the same love for accessories that you have, the more the better. She is a real beauty brother, congratulations on a fine restoration and the best of luck with her. Cheers. George.
