I have been thinking about it and have made some inquiries but haven't come up with a figure that I am comfortable with yet. It's an auction and I say let it go to where it will go. You probably know what you what you are willing to pay and I wouln't worry about if you are bidding someone else up because it still boils down to whoever wants it the most and is willing to pay will win out in the end. I appreciate your consideration on it though.

Has anyone had this car checked out for any of the usual rust problems -frame, floor pans, trunk etc. Hard to bid on something from a distance with no knowledge of the actual condition!

worst case is if it goes cheap enough.. and its a rust bucket.. LOADS of great parts..
but I think it's a survivor driver for sure.

Glad I didn't waste my time going up there to bid on it!!! I was in Edmonton the weekend prior to go to the Super Chevy Show (another waste of time!!) but I stopped and looked at this car. Whoever bought it must have really, really wanted it! Good luck to them! Ya, gotta love a good old auction!!!!!
