In mine half the cages spun and I busted a bolt. furious  Wasnt very fun but glad I did it. Found rusty weak points in the rearspring pockets and fixed them.

well im do have many parts allready out ( gas tank , engine , tranny ) i would only have to undo the steering colum and the master lines and parking brake cable........

but i have to consider lifting the body from the frame........ just not to have to cut that trunk floor in half ...... i dont have a nice lift like in those pics above

my original idea was to leave the frame on , but like Paul mentionned , you could find some surprises ........

think think think and find some time !!!!!

got  two  floor jacks  and  a bunch  of jack  stands  , and  a couple  of  enthusiastic employes , that  love  old  cars  !!

it s a question  of  time   , and  the  engine will be ready  soon  and  i want to  put it back in before  winter  ( for that  the fuel tank  and  trunk floor has to go in  ), in order to try  the car  on a dry  road  before  the snow  comes  ( mid  nov usually.

worst to comme i will get the engine going  with  a jerry can on the back  seat .
