This is an extreemly solid and straight truck! You will have to go a long way to find a better one to restore. 95% rust free...Truck was a small town Saskatchewan school bus conversion..the yellow paint is original! The engine is in the truck, however not running..no interior or glass..looks like a one ton with a long wheel base..come have a look.. you will not be dissapointed in how straight and virtually rust free this scarce truck is.I was hoping to keep this one, however my situation has changed, my loss your gain....winter is coming..come get your project! call or email with any questions! $3995.00 or make me an offer!...Andy at 905-995-5460

one of the biggest suppliers of parts for those trucks is located in courtice ont and bill is reasonable in his prices too.

That PEI Panel truck looks more like a 62/63 w/ that hood..
Wrap-around glass was 60-63 so could be a '61 w/ later hood?.

glass is cheap, the side stuff will have to be custom made but if it was mine i would get rid of the side windows.

that would be sweet Carl, are those the engines that you can fit an Allison transmission to?

as far as the windows go, i kind of like the look, would be nice to make it all like a panel truck, but too many of those around, i would keep it like a HotRod school bus..... to be different

         The Duramax normally has the 5 speed Allison behind it   

I drove my buddys 2000 Suburban Duramax conversion to the muffler shop yesterday..

The Allison is like have 2....  2nd gears from a 4 speed! 

Its awsome!!    just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling       The 6.0L do not come with Allison   but the 8.1L gas motor DID

Ya HOT ROD school bus.stock original on the out side but upgraded to a DURAMAX....Can`t be many of those left.A piece of Canadian history.

what would you guys do about the frame? would you keep this frame and fir tthe conversion on it? 

or would you take all the bottom parts (frame, suspension ect) from a recent  pickup or suburban

I would have to measure it  

it sure would be easier to  fit it on a Suburban or crew cab Diesel Chasis

You can tell it is in saskatchewan by the running boards on the Delta 88biggrin

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH.  The other one has a longer roof.
