Coupe - Pickup bed conversion unit ONLY -- This car shows one installed - This is NOT the car or the unit I have for sale.
I have a GM made NOS pickup bed unit to fit the 1941 series coupes.  It came with no wood in the floor but the strips are with it.  The dealer or owner would have installed the wood.   There is surface rust from storage & a couple of small bullet dings - not holes.   (It came from Texas)   It will not fit a 1948 Chev coupe - that is why it is for sale. $1000
 
I will go often to where it is stored to see if it is still available -- if it is gone I will let you know --  honest!

That is a really odd accessory today. I believe Hudson used to also offer a trunk-mounted box back in the late 1930s, as did Ford .
