Still a Valiant/Dart with a slant-six was a great car/engine back then. My Dad had a '74 Dart with a six.

Look closely for evidence that in the Canadian market you could get the 153 four-cyl on any trim level that year (unlike the U.S.). The 194 six was a way smoother motor and really didn't give up much on gas consumption.
