Nice enough car but I'm thinking a typo error on the price.

Nice car. I'm sure the real asking price is 10% of the number here. And if so it's in the right range because these full sized Chevy cars have taken a beating on price since the recession.

Not to beat on the guy or his car but you can ask what you want for a car.

I agree with others that it must be a typo in the asking price box. Probably a 35K asking price would be more in line.

It's not hard at all to have that 35K plus in a full nut and bolt restoration of a numbers matching big block car.

Maybe you are right about the asking price. I don't know what anything willl sell for these days but I do know that insurance appraisals on these cars are way down (just had mine done), and many of the cars 65-70 B body cars you see for sale are not going for prices anywhere near $35K.

Did your appraisal drop in value from last one?? car needs some "upgrade" in condition from before??? or like you stated, appr. just down on value??? I have to get the Catalina done again + the 52, as it's getting "up there" in $$$ & have no insurance on it while building it!!! Ins. Co. [Lant] said they will insure a project car under construction, but must get a appraisal.  Best to get some coverage on it [I thought] in case something happens to garage [ God for Bid!!]
