Hello all,

I am new to this forum. Have just bought my first Pontiac. It is a Pontiac 1000 and going to be my daily driver. I would like to know what year it is. The chassis number is  IG2TL086TFA200136 if this is of any help. Thanks for now and any info will be appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks guys for the welcoming!! As far as I know there are only two here in Malta. How did you know that is is a 1985 model Carl Stevenson? Where can I buy parts for it? Thanks for the help. I used to live in Toronto but my parents are Maltese and we moved here. I still miss Canada a lot.

The 10th digit gives the year. 1980 is the letter A and each year goes up one letter, with the exceptions of I and O which are skipped to avoid confusion with zero and one.
