NOS GM rear view mirror mounting screws

While I was going through some of my bins of parts looking for some other parts I came across a part box of new old stock GM rear view mirror mounting screws. One screw is required to attach the mirror to the mirror bracket in your car.

They are not like a screw you can pick up at a hardware store.

The part number is 565842 and fit many GM cars from the 60's to early 70's. If you are unsure if they fit your car send me a personal message with your vehicle information and I can check the parts manual.

If anyone wants one or more I will send them regular mail in an envelope. If you want express shipping, tracking or insurance it will cost more to send them. Limited quantity.

$8.00 each including shipping or 2 for $15.00 including shipping to Canada and USA included.

My paypal address is sd396beaumont@yahoo.ca PM or email me your shipping address or make sure it is correct in the paypal system.

Hi,

I'll definitely take 2, assuming they'll work for my 68 2+2.

I'll check the parts manual when I get back home to be sure Scott. It should be Friday evening.

Paypal is alright with me Rick. I updated the original post so the information is there for everyone.

They are coming snail mail but shouldn't take too long to get there. They will go out before the Christmas rush.

this screw is one of the things I grab from cars in the junk-yard.  They're often fairly damaged, but on occasion I find a good one.

I couldn't find them in my parts book (I might be blind). I'll have to check if my '64 takes them tomorrow (unless someone here knows).

Here is a partial list of what these screws fit according to the parts manuals I have.

Pontiac All - 58 - 72

Acadian (Chevy 2) - 63 - 72

Beaumont (Chevelle) - 64 - 72

Most if not all Buick, Olds, Caddy and Corvette are the same in the same years. For anyone that is looking for those marque's let me know and I will check. I only posted makes that are relative to the section I posted them.

 Here are some more

1967-1969 Firebird
1963-1976 Corvette
1964-1972 Buick Skylark / Special
1964, 1966-1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass / F85
1970-1971 Oldsmobile full size
1952-1970 Cadillac

I don't see anything in the FS Chevrolet book either. Group 10.186 is where the mirrors are. It shows the mirror support under Group 10.187 in the parts manual but no fastener. Chevy must have used a different mirror mount. Do you have a picture?

It is not listed in the Camaro parts manual either.

For the people that have purchased some of these: they have been mailed out to you this past week. Depending what province you are located they should be there next week if you haven't already got them.

 Thanks, Brad

There are still more available if anyone else needs them.

These screws are correct for your car Scott. I updated the information in my original post but didn't reply to your question.
