Non Pontiac or sold at Pontiac car (viewer discretion is advised)

Friday was a gorgeous day here...biggrin

I decided to get 1988 Monte Carlo out, and wash, and ,back in, garage for winter

It was so nice I decided to take my 81 year old mother to Goderich for a drive   (12 miles away)

We drove over to CTC for some specials and then a tour of the "Square"  (still many contractors working there)

We toured down to beach and I took some pictures..

Salt mine heavily damaged..  Ships getting salt and corn loaded..

car ran nice but cold be a little smoother..

Do you think the 1988 spark plugs could be fouled?..

Car has 28,000KM and had 26,000KM in 1993

Would gasoline from several years ago be good? confuse I added a 1/2 tank when I got it ..

Carl, your mom just looks like a total sweetie!

And for whatever my opinion is worth, I think that car is a heck of a deal.

Thanks Carl     she went though a lot as I was growing up (not from me)

  She loves to go fast

The first night I got the Strato Chief in April 06

I picked her up and we went across the "marsh" on the trans canada well over 100mph

and the car should be a keeper... its as nice as you would find in a musuem.. I hope to find a car guy for it  wink

A fine example of GM at its best in the 80s, before RWD was all but abandoned (with a couple of notable exceptions into the 90s - Caprice 9C1, Impala SS, Roadmaster, etc.)
