American 66 Pontiac MAGIC CRUISE control

Hi guys I was aimlessly looking though ebay and ran across this.  I have mixed feelings about showing it here as there may be one or two other guys who would want this (as do I) but I'm not sure it would actually work in a Canadian Pontiac as I know the cruise offered that year (according to the owners manual had the control head as a dash mounted thumbwheel kind of thing.  The pedal is different as well but that's easy to fix.

Not  sure if its worth sniffing at....

If you don't mind a lot of extra work, go for it Ken. That cluster is completely different on the back side than our's is. One is a printed circuit, one is individual wires for each bulb. You would need to change all that. Also, of course all the engine bracketry is useless to you because of it being the US Pontiac engine. I'm sure there would be a way to make it work but a 65-66 Impala 396-427 cruise unit will bolt right in to your car.

By George I should  have known you  would know!  I'll keep an eye out (as painful as that is!)

I was figuring a cruise control would come in handy when I drive the 66 Grande down to Morris to see how yours is coming along NEXT SUMMER.

You think so huh? Well, you let me know when you are coming. I might make you drive 3 hours east of Winnipeg and torture you with some of my coffee while we enjoy this view......

And for the record, as far as I've seen, the 65-66 Chev B body cruise is 100% identical to our's. Not only will it fit, I am sure they are the same. The only thing I can imagine that could possibly be different is the bracket that hangs the servo unit off the rad cradle.
