I didn't realize it was an Imperial. SUPER rare! Only 1145 sold in Canada (including 4 doors)
Only 1087 2 doors sold worldwide! 440 power to boot! I'd drive it.

From what I've read the 74-5 Imperials were the best built of the Marque. I like it.

You need that car Todd!
What an awesome slug. If the miles are true it's well worth that.

When I first started working back in a municipality we had one of these in 4drs. (probably an earlier 70's) Dark blue. with dark blue padded roof, dark blue interior that was used as the Mayor's limo. In those days all the other mayors had Cadillacs but our Mayor was True Davidson and she refused to spend all that money on a Cadillac so the fleet manager got her the Imperial. I would often go on errands with her chauffeur and once he let me drive it around a block....awesome for a 18 year old.

The price is pretty reasonable for what it is, though there isn't much of a market for those cars. Hopefully it is too rich for The Trailer Park Boys. I've seen how those clowns treat those Mopar land yachts.

I'm thinking about the line in the B-52s song "Love Shack"; "Well I got me a Chrysler it's as big as a whale and its about to set sail. Well I got me a Chrysler and it seats about 20, so come on and bring you juke box money!"

I think it is a gorgeous example. I'll bet it is thirsty though. For 1976 the Imperial name was dropped and it became the New Yorker, and the Lean Burn system was introduced.

I found a couple of road tests from the era online and the best mileage they could squeeze out of that car was 13mpg. About the same as a Hummer H2

I bought a 75 Cordoba with the 400 in it. It got 9.5 mpg when I got it and after spending the money on parts and a tune up got 12.5 mpg and this thing had 2 some thing rear gears in it. Black black car just another one that sat till I could trade it off.
