Those fenders look pretty tired, just like mine.  They used pretty thin sheet metal.

Just finding parts for those is like searching for gold!

Wow!   That is amazingly dinged up.  I guess thats what still avaialble out there though if you want real steel.

Glad you were able to save it  form its slow death.

i hope my 38 pickup will be on the road by next summer in some form or other.

I lost a bet over that willys....We were on our way up to Shellbrook to visit with my old granny and we were traveling along at warp speed in the old Grand Caravan when one of the boys starts yelling...THERE'S A WILLYS....THERE'S A WILLY'S...it sort of had the same effect as someone yelling..DEER.. but by the time I got the rocket under control we were a few miles down the road. Anyway, I called B.S. because I have never ever seen a willy's in the wild.

Well we stopped in to check it out on the way home....I lost $20.00 but it was great to meet Michael and check out his awesome garage and nailhead coupe. Good times.
