1965 Chevrolet 2 door sedan (sometimes called Post)

I am not a fan of 1965's  but this one is a nice example....

Chevrolet Biscayne 2door sedan. 27000 miles (43000km). Frame off resto by the 2nd owner. Car was near rust free, the drivers side front floor pan was the only repair to the car. All spot welds on the rockers and rear wheels are still visible. I am the 3rd owner. I have some original paperwork that goes with the car.

Vehicle has the 'original' interior (turquoise) in excellent condition. Car has power steering and power disc brakes. 15x7 steel wheels with correct and original 'dog dish' caps with BFG Radial T/A's.

Drive train is 1998 350 cubic inch vortec engine (33000 mile) with 'air gap' intake and 750 Edelbrock carb. 700R4 overdrive transmission and rebuilt 12 bolt posi with 3.42 gear.

This car runs excellent and cool in the summer and is a drive anywhere car that gets high teens on the highway.

Not considering any trade as I am thinning my collection.

I agree

but I heard that big blocks were not produced after 1975

I wonder if there are any in Morris?

p.s.  my M20 Muncie I bought off site, is in N.B. and is sandblasted and getting all new bearings etc

Nice trans  but its a 69 Chevelle, and the box boy at the grocey store, says it wouldn't be "legal" in a 65 confuse

If the 65 has crossed flags and I added a 4 speed  I could just leave hood closed...   look at steering wheel  the shift indicator says PRD32  ??

Only difference in the two is the antenna

If yours was straight, it would double the value of the car

No I don't Carl. wish I did because I want one too. I say too much money just because of the way the economy or market is now. I know what it costs to restore a car, even if you do it all yourself, I have done it. I know I cannot get anywhere  near what I have into mine. It is just a reality, I think.

I mean no disrespect to the owner of that car, it looks nice, but to me it may be $18k top, but that is just me, and for 18k it better be very nice when actuall viewed. Am I wrong, quite possibly

thats good imput   some cars like that are well done and priced by owners who don't need the money   I think 18-19 is on the money   about 1/2 of the restoration..   thanks

Any B-body 2 door post from 65-69 is worth having if it's in good shape. I like them all.

Nope,  Nobody seems to want it for cash.  I can't tell you how many chev/gmc trucks, mustangs I've been offered though.
