As i recall a lot of guys would use a bunch of those baskets in a futile attempt to hide the smell of what they were smoking. Thats not what you have in mind eh? (heh, heh)
Not in our cars. I've never heard of smoked lobsters here, just mackerel, & herring.
They smoke a lot of different things on the left coast.
I imagine a lot of these basket air freshners were used as a stash in the day.
