As soon as you start using the web expect junk mail. There are programs out there that pick up e-mail addresses, SIN and credit card numbers to name a few. Don't blame us Canadians Eh....the web doesn't really recognize international boundries. As far as the Viagra...if your as old as half the codgers on here you could probably use it.

I know by posting this thread/topic that I will create some waves, critizism and probably some male humor, jokes and questions on what I use my computer for.
However, I am a very private person and not many people or groups will I give my e-mail too. Especially relatives. All they want is a free place to stay, visit Lake Tahoe and stay too long.
So, getting back to my Junk E-Mail Problem: Since joining this site & forum; I have been getting junk mail from someone selling, Canadian Viagra. Also, some x-rated girls trying to lure me in to opening their e-mails. Their e-mails have a Canadian Address. We all know what happens when you open questionable e-mail. Right, it's like not wearing a condom.
I do not appreciate the "coincidence" of joining this Web Site and receiving Junk Mail from Canada that could infect my computer. Please have the Webmaster look into this.
P.S. One more thing. I am not "bashing" or "anti" Canada. Both sides of my family ancestry dates back to the mid 1700's in Montreal and The Metis of Saskatchewan. So please, no insults.
I don't think it's this site!!!! I've been getting similar "JUNK" mail from RBC,Wallmart, Viagra, etc. long b-4 joining up here. Think it happens whenever you go on line "ANYWHERE I just keep blocking them!!! Then they change their addr. & you "block" them again

I can assure you I haven't given your email address to anyone. However, what you do on the web is now closely monitored by Google and web services. If you have a gmail, yahoo, hotmail or related email address you can be pretty sure your email is likely being sold to third parties.
