I have been doing alot of thinking lately and a change of direction in life has made me decide to sell off a few things. One of the ones is my beaumont.
Some may have followed the resto process but here is a description.
1966 Beaumont 2 door hardtop sport deluxe 327 numbers match bored 60 over fully rebuilt. 1980 borg warner super T10 4 speed rebuilt. Originally a powerglide car. Body was stripped to metal and had both 1/4s and inner tubs, trunk pan, and 1 fllor pan replaced. Replaced both doors and right fender with good clean used ones. It was painted in a base clear 2001 Chevy dark torador red originally aztek bronze. All parchment interior was replaced with a PUI chevelle kit. 2 1/2" Dual exaust with 40 series flowmaster. Painted chevy steel 7" rims with dog dish caps and beauty rings. I have an appraisal for 40 thou but am thinking in the area of 34 will let it go to a happy new owner. It is gonna be tough but times change. I can get more pictures for anyone that is interested
The next 3 years was nothing but collecting parts and in the summer of 2006 the Beaumont resto was started. First got the body off the frame to evaluate what I have. Well to make it short for you both 1/4's, both inner tubs, full trunk pan, both doors, both floor pans, and the left fender were replaced with new metal. The motor was fully rebuilt.
A full interior kit (chevelle) was installed and the car has been painted Dark Torador Red (01 GM color)
The car was originally Aztec Bronze with white interior. It does have the F41 suspension package and a few other options. Unfortunately, I can't find the build sheet. The car was completed in April of 08 and has definately been a chore. Approx 99% of the build was done right at home in the shop except the motor build and the final paint I have to pass along a huge help to a friend that if it wasnt for him this Beaumont wouldn't have gotten near the resto that it finaly did."
