1975 Cadillac, 500ci V-8, no rust car

I have for sale a 1975 Cadillac Coupe with the original 500 ci V-8 just up from florida.  This car was previously in New Mexico so no rust here.

The most recent repaint was from baby blue to Bahama blue and the previous owner spent $2400 on Foose wheels and performance tires just prior to the drive up from Florida.

The car rides and drives like only a Cadillac can.  It's like floating down the river with no breeze.  Biggest difference with this car is you actually feel as if you are in control.  Unlike some big cars that just float all over the road this one handles great.  Driving through town I kept finding myself 10-20 miles over the speed limit because the ride was so smoth.

Everything seems to work on the car except the climate control.  It blows but not cold.  The car has good original seat covers but they are currently covered by inexpensive Walmart coverrs.  Carpet is in good shape but a little shaggy.  Headliner is new.  door panels need some TLC and the dash is heat cracked as well.  Brakes are said to be all new including the master cylinder, disc up front.

No rust in the trunk and it could pass as a hide a bed in a pinch.

The best part of the car though is the drivetrain, it runs like hot butter.

I can get it to any of the 3 border crossings in Michigan to Ontario.

I'm asking $5,995 or your best offer.  Previous owner was in a pitch and claims to have over $10k in the car.

This is the shop that painted my Acadian and has done most anything I could not do for the last 5-6 yrs.  I used to race with these friends back in the 70's.

They bought a large building next to their current buildings.  The new location is being parceled out and leased to other business ventures.  I was able to lay claim to a good section of the building that was previously used to manufacture doors and windows.  It has a 12' overhead door, electricity, heat, water, etc, etc.  Storage for about 6 cars.

We have started a new venture at there location selling cars I have bought and next week I will be going to Kentucky to pick up my first load of trailers.  Currently I'm selling the cars under "Florida Cars" but with the addition of our trailer dealership we will change to "Automotive Specialties Cars & Trailers.  We are a dealer for Defender Race bodies and we manufacture fiberglass roofs for Outlaw dirt cars.

We just opened an eBay store under Defender Race Products and will use this to sell Cars, Trailers, Defender products, used and new classic, antique and race car parts.  We both have lots and lots of used parts to sell.  My partner is also set up with a distributor of aftermarket auto parts direct from our store and they will ship direct.

It was getting harder and harder to drive the long runs but I need to be involved with the cars in some way because I enjoy it so much.

Being a Cadillac I love it Norm. You don't see the Coupe Deville style too often here in Canada and of course never in this condition. A friend has promised me the 500 Caddy out of his 75 Superior Ambulance. I have been thinking about putting big wheels and tires on my Fleetwood.

Congratulations!!    I know you will do well, and give Candy some space  lol

Bump, bump   I still have this car been driving it around some.  It really is a pleasure to drive.

Price has been lowered to $3995  fall sale but at this point the price is firm or it goes to storage.

Just to make it easier for my friends in Canada, I will even take this price in CDN Dollars.blankstareblankstareblankstare

Ray needs to move to the outskirts of Toronto, right now there are two Cadillacs, an Olds, GMC and a Pontiac outside my house, that's 5. I live 10 minutes from Yonge & Bloor. At least tonight I recieved a compliment from a woman and her husband walking their dog tonight.  She said "you have really nice cars, you can tell you have an appreciation for them"

I like the car Norm has for sale and I let Norm know I'll be putting out feelers for him. A Coupe Deville is pretty rare in that year and for those that think the wheels are wrong or the funeral coach scroll is wrong those are easy fixes. It's a solid Florida car.

Well my thought is to remove the scroll on the sail panel and install a Carson style top to give it an early 50's, 60's look.   I might even add a mild scallop to the lower front fender going back to door in silver or color to match the top.

Final touch might be lake pipes.

Anyone get my style?????

Norm, take off the scroll and have it touched up, put the original wheels back on. I wouldn't be putting a lot of money in it. You will have the big wheels to resell and more than make the scroll removal cost back. These cars need to be seen so campaign it a local cruises.

Give me a one page flyer in colour with a photo, a computer file. I'll print off copies and distribute at the big Toronto Cadillac show end of month.
