Yes, the Acadian sixes used valve cover decals through 1966. They were the same colour as those used on the Chevrolet, which is black & gold. The decals went on the top (no Chevrolet script on the top in Canada) or sometimes wrapped around onto the side a bit (like the U.S. did; they had to clear the Chevrolet script on top in the U.S.)
An older friend's mother owned a nice 1966 Beaumont since new. Both she and the car are gone now. I remember looking under the hood in the 1970s and seeing a "Turbo Thrift 230 - 140 Horsepower" decal on it. I would have expect an "Econoflame 230" decal. Remember the Acadian & Chevy II came down the same line serially in Oshawa; likewise with the Beaumont & Chevelle.
I'll be honest, off the top I can't remember if the decals should just say:
"Acadian
194
120 Horsepower"
The friend's mother owned a clean 1966 Beaumont Custom sport coupe in Marina Blue with a black vinyl roof cover, 230, p/s & p/b & Powerglide. The father owned a clean 1966 Pontiac Parisienne sport coupe, Lemonwood Yellow with a black vinyl roof & interior, 283, p/s & p/b & Powerglide. The mother died in 1988; the father passed away about 2 years ago at the ripe old age of 101.
