Geez Pete take care, I'm sure being couped up drives you nuts though. Glad you could shake down the 52, iy looks good. Was that Doug William's '64 Bonneville convertible or is it a Parisienne?

Ray, you are refering to Blue one?? 64 Bonniville rag top is John Mitchell's from Ennismore [Near Peterbourgh] He also has a "matching" 2dr. htp. the same colour, both 389's but the Htp. has more options on it!! Yellow one is from Cannington, & I don't know couples name, but they 'claim' that their car is one of 217 left on the road?????

Well, the 52 made it's "DEBUT" at this show today. Around 85 cars showed up in poor weather, only about 4 or 5 Ponchos, but I'll throw in some "brand X" as well. Car ran well, still a little hot on guage but only have 35 miles on new engine, Ran it through the gears up to 4000 rpm, "Hauled A$$" in 1st. to 4th gear, then at 60MPH in 5th turning 1600 RPM!! Blue & White 62 G/P is the one I picked up at "Rail yard" last fall!!! Worn out after show, I'm still not up to "PAR" but felt great driving the 52 for the 1st show!!!Picture 242.jpgPicture 243.jpgPicture 257.jpgPicture 258.jpgPicture 255.jpgPicture 256.jpgPicture 254.jpg

Looking good there Pete. That car keeps growing on me the more I see it. Glad you are up and at and hopefully the strength will come shortly..

Good to see you are getting some fresh air (and exhaust fumes)! The car is looking great!

Both of John's Bonni's are "Diplomat" Blue but it does look black from a distance!!!  Just about as black as the skies got around 1:30 that day, by 2pm it was a "down pour"!! I have a few things to "FIX" after shake down run, Car is tight but have a trunk leak, Trim shop took out the spacers for W/Shield inner garnish Mldgs. & now the mldg. covers up the defrost ducts, they gave a box back & thats where I saw the spacers??? Guess I'll find out "why" when I go to fix this "screw up"
