After watching the closing ceremonies of the London Olympics and seeing all the great looking British cars both vintage and modern I am thinking I am a big six Austin Healey guy.

I can appreciate a British Classic. I love the MGA's, Austin Healeys and Triumphs. I had a 78 Spitfire that was a blast to drive and easy to work on. I didn't have any of the problems people say British cars have (electrical problems etc). I also had the optional hardtop. I should have kept that one...I had a total of 5 grand into it.

Ray, you picked the most expensive one on the list!!!  Healey 3000 start in the 30 grand range & go "way up" from there!!!  All these cars were "BAD" for rot in the frames, pillar posts & frt. inner fenders!!!!  But a "HOOT" to drive, we had a 72 MG Midget for Janice a few yrs. back. A lot of fun, in between "break downs" & electrical failures.

A neighbour has TR6 as pictured below. I'd take that too.

My father used to sell and work on the Austin H's. He had a real fondness for the cars. More so than the MG's and Triumphs that he also handled.
My buddy has a 66 Sunbeam Tiger which is a real hoot to be in. The V8 really propels it!
Personally, I think the TR6 is a timeless classic. Big wheels, and redlines!

The Healey's are nice, a Sunbeam Tiger would be cool. These MGA's are too small for me, I keep the nut on the steering column loose so I can remove the wheel to get in and out of it when moving in and out of the shop.
