Thanks everyone your comments make the hard work that much better. The car has a 455 that is .030 over, turbo 400 with a 3500 stall converter and a 3.73 posi out back. All the work was done by myself with help from some good friends.

Hi everyone have not posted too much thought I would post a few pics of my Firebird, My dad and I bought the car when I was 14 years old which was 31 years ago. It was my first car and I still have it. I did a ground up resto on about 3 years ago . At my first show that year  I won a trophy for best firebird at the iron Indians show first trophy ever , pretty happy guy I can tell you. Just thought I would share a little. Will try to post pics of my other pontiacs as well.

It's funny you mention the mirrors , I actually went back to the stock mirrors. I have been meaning to post some more updated pics of the car and engine. When I get back from Bogota I will get on top of it, as well I will post pics of my other cars. Thanks for all the great comments it always makes my day when I read them.

 the blue beast in the background is a 1969 dodge dart, that is my friends car and he is a mopar fanatic

Awesome car and pics! My brother had a blue 69 firebird. Sweet car but didn't look anywhere near a nice as yours. great job.

66 Grande Parisienne, 2dr HT, 327 4bbl, Auto.

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

Well I am about to realize a child hood dream, I am putting my car in the World of Wheels with the Calgary Firebird Club. We will have a total of 6 cars in our display. My son and I have been working hard to get the car ready for the show less than 2 weeks to go. It has been alot of fun so far.
