It is a 1968-1970 Acadian hubcap. It might even go back to 1967 but to be honest I don't know. I have not seen a 1967 Acadian with base hubcaps, which is surprising since I have been a car spotter since the 1960s. That hubcap is based on the 1967 full-sized Chevrolet hubcap but obviously with a different center medallion.

Is it for sure a 14" cap Kelly? They make a 13" that looks a lot like that.

I haven't seen the 2 years together side by side, but the 1970 Acadian dog dish cap was that style, and I believe they are identical. Now the 1971 style was different. It was a baby moon with a red maple leaf in the center. I have not seen a 1971-style cap since about 1983 in Hamilton on a mint Classic Copper 1971 Acadian coupe (Powerglide & AM radio were the only options on the car; the steering wheel insert was blank).

I'm not sure, I've never had a 13" rim. So I didn't know there was a difference in centers size

Sounds like the general belief is 69.
Thanks guys.
It was a gift from a friend so I'm going to list it for auction for the club.

i dont think those caps came on 67 s , unless maybe a late late 67 , but i think they came out with the new 68 body style , but i admit they are based on 67 full size caps

look at the 67 in this post , it has different caps from the 66 67 era
