if you are talking about the extensions on the sides of the fenders i am sure they are nova only

thanks for your input i did not think that they were factory opptions on the acadian beaumonts. so i geuss i will just have to list them . i see that you own a 63 acadian beaumont sd . my 63 acadian beaumont is just a 2 dr ht . it came with a 6 cyl. w/ power glide. now it has a 327 w/ power glide -power stearing and power disc brakes . there is a pic of a car just like the one i own . it was posted on 12-11-10 on this site it is white with the same trim package as mine . i will be submitting some pics of my car soon . thanks again jim

I know if they were ever installed on canadian Acadians i would think about putting them on..

hi lefty ill look most likely i have three or four sets ill give them to you , may be able to put them on with double sided tape let me find them ill get back to you i have lots of these parts not enough cars to put them on

Menno is the only person who might have the piece you are looking for, i will ask him for you.(piece #8)
The safety switch was only on the 63 - 64 SS floor shift, i think they changed it in 65 (in consol)

hi lefty i see you have a 63 convertible . wish i had one . i have the same type of trim as the red pics you posted . i am thinking that the pair of extentions that i have will look very good on my car . i have had all my side trim straitened and polished . i am wondering if maybe you might be able to help me find a better piece of side trim. one of the pieces has a small hole in it on the leading edge . the piece that i am talking about is on the driver side door it is the one runs from the front of the door to the back of the door . its 3/4 inches wide . any info on trying to locate one will be very help full . yes i did keep the 2 spd in my car . i think there is a nova or two in my local salvage yards i will look for you . what types and years of cars will cross over to what you are looking for let me no ok ttyl jim

hi again lefty the two cars i was thinking about are both 65 4 dr not to much lift for the picking . yes i think the piece that i am looking for is # 8 . i am also looking for a pair of back up light lens . my two have small pieces missing around the screw holes . also need the gaskets ttyl jim

i should be able to find some lenses (right and left the same)
had to make my own gaskets they are not available
i just used a 1/4 wide role and it worked great.

Just looking through some of the older posts. The extensions were used on the 62 Acadians but not on 63 and newer. They were used on Novas up to 65. You can get b/u lenses from Menno. I bought two sets and they are excellent quality. Hard to tell them from originals.
