It's the same platform as the Impala SS in those years, except I like the Pontiac styling better (naturally!)

Yes, but if they parked side by side on the highway until the flag dropped, that chicken would be having the last laugh!

I'm almost ready to move on from the Fleetwood but I put a brand new GM crate LT1 in it only about 70,000km ago and can't bring myself to part with such a new engine!

Our son was supposed to get my 67 Nova SS when he turns 21 in fall 2015. Now it's going to be up for sale because he wants exactly that instead, an LS1 T56 hardtop.

You have to be very careful with these late model cars and the design. All these cars are fat with a lot of height and sheet metal. I really hate driving these late model cars because of this, visibility out is poor and rearward it next to none. This is the reason these cars are all coming with back up assist and camera. Shoulder checking is also very difficult in these new designs. They are also very cramped inside . Stuffing a big engine in a poor design doesn't make it a good car.
