Melling IS-55D pump shaft.

I think some repro place have the stick. I believe GM finally discontinued it.

Balancer, hmmmm. Dorman has a line of balancers. Maybe???

I think that's BC talk for the engine oil dipstick and the oil pump driveshaft.

At least that's what Google Translate came up with.

well it would be pretty tough to drive the oil pump with the distributing dipstick through that little hole

283 never had a conventional balancer just a stub, only a used item, needs to be matched to th timming cover
