front end questions


can anyone tell me if parts from a 65 chevelle will fit onto a 65 Beaumont I took my car in to get safetied and i need ball joints,center links.and idler arms  and i got this book from Ecklers Chevelle. found the parts i need in it and very reasonable priced thinking of ordering them if they fit on my car

I think the only thing you need to worry about is the centre link. I am not near a parts book right now but it seems to me that possibly 65 has a 13/16"or a 7/8" link and possibly the US cars and the Canadian cars don't use the same size.

I'd help you out with it more Gord but I can't access a parts book right now.

the book that i got Carl is the 64 are 13/16 and 7/8 they dont say anything about 65

I think you are correct,  1964 is the strange year,  all others are 7/8.   does not make too much difference as long as you match your centerlink to the idler and pitman arms.   Go with 7/8 for everything,  it will make things more conventional.

         Some Moog are China made now  (sad face)   Uncle Bernie bought some specified Moog parts for his 99 Chevy pickup and all were China
