Vintage vehicle services

I had one of the local GM dealers cut new keys for me.  They really didn't know the process, so they contacted Historical Services as stated in the letter to get the codes.  While initially they looked puzzled, they worked through the process to provide the keys.   Keep in mind that somewhere along the way the lock cylinders may have been changed, so be prepared for that.

I got my package today. Wow, I am surprised that we can get keys cut going back to 1946 on Canadian cars based on the vin. Cool seeing all the options ordered on my 68 Parisienne. And all the specs for 1968 full size pontiacs. It also states my car has the same mechanical specification as an impala model 16487.

The bushgoat didn't come with keys but with the vin I was able to get fresh keys made and they fit the locks and work like they should.

Most any car if you bring the vin and proof of owner ship the dealer can get and give the codes.
