1969 big block fuel pump with smog pump, is it the same as without smog ?

I am trying to find the correct fuel pump for my Beaumont, I installed an AIR (smog pump ) on it to keep it correct with being a standard transmission. I have checked numerous parts suppliers and have yet to see one with smog, was there a return line from the fuel pump to to the gas tank in 69? The pump that looks most correct has a long center section with 3 lines. I am running a quadrajet . Hope someone can help me find the right one !

Thanks a million

The parts book shows 67 All w/396 6416740

It's the same pump as a 67 Beaumont 396/350 hp.

So if the parts book is correct, this should be a short two line pump. However, I am not about to dispute what you say, I am no Beaumont expert but if the book is right it would be a short pump.

Short two line fuel pump is correct. The fuel return line came of the inline fuel filter on the 396 in 69  . They used the long three line fuel pump in 70 chevelles as the return line came of the fuel pump.

Kevin,
Not sure why you'd put a smog pump on the car, they didn't have them.
The pumps were on U.S. cars, not on Canadian ones.
Had quite a battle years ago with an OLD mechanic who insisted my '69 would
run better if I went back to stock and had an air pump.
He tried to show me the set up in a service book and refused to accept that what
he was showing me was a Chev/Chevelle book for U.S. cars
Check the cast iron manifold numbers, the air pump ones are different for
south of the border.

(and I love what you've built !)
