1st character, unique to Canadian cars, "3" = 1963

2nd character, "7" = Canadian Pontiac

3rd through 5th characters, "847" = Parisienne Sport Coupe (would mean Impala Sport coupe if it was "1847" or Parisienne if "7847" taken 2 through 5 inclusive.

Youve got me on the rest. Many Canadian cars were built in Ste. Thérèse, PQ, but many were also built in Oshawa which was running 2 different plants back then.

Mine is 3 - 1963, 7 - Canadian Pontiac and then 767 which must mean convertible. Maybe the last "7" numbers 847 and 767 numbers mean 2 door?
