I'll try not to derail your thread here too badly (my specialty is derailing threads on there they tell me!) but I spoke with someone this past week who tried to sell a Turbo T/A like your avatar at auction. The car is perfect shape, but modified some and it barely got to 20 thousand in bidding. It has a $38,000 appraisal (which granted, is way high) but barely 20K bids on a pretty much perfect Turbo T/A appraised almost double that seems soft.

Derailing is what it's all about ! I have one of those TTA's as well and have watched the market on them. I know it is also a bit soft on these cars. Here's the thing though, they are both great vehicles, plenty of power, good gas mileage, relatively rare and collectible.

Saw this on TurboBuicks, thought I'd share

Thanks. It is a nice GN. One of mine, too many collector cars right now. Had a sudden and unexpected change in employment this past Fall/Spring and the hours that come with the new job do not allow very much time for the hobby. I had at least one too many of them anyhow, so time to try and reduce by at least one if not two. The market for cars like the GN seems to be down right now, but will see what happens, might try one of them at an auction.

I know the owner of this GN he is a top notch guy with excellent quality cars - he'll definately give you an honest description and not waste his time or yours - in my opinion worth the money - cheaper only gets you less 'pay me now, or pay me later'

Thought I'd put it out there that I'd be willing to trade up one, two vehicles even add a few $$ for the right deal to end up with one less collector car. Have had success in the past trading around vehicles.
