See lots of Canadian Ponchos for sale

I've been browsing kijiji & trader (as usual) and been finding lots of Decent priced project or better cars listed. http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1962-Pontiac-Parisienne-Canadian-Made-W0QQAdIdZ523409764 this one seems like a good start. Another was a 65 Parisienne vert for $5500.

no one seems to be in the buying mode right now so that's good for prices if you re looking. I'm just a looky loo right now.

Need a shop & money, same old same old!

Sales have been slow and slowing     and will continue to slow    Unless prices "get real"

Just a thought here on sales dropping!!! Seems to me, ever since the Ont. Prov. Gov [" Fiberals"] Upped the sales tax to "PRIVATE" sales, to level the playing field for dealerships, as they said, the private sales took a big slump!!! This was done to halt the curbsider or flipper sales but I think it shot the collector car Mkrt. in the foot, as 13% on top of bill "HURTS" big time!! Now that ins. computors & MTO's are crossed referenced, even getting a "low ball" used car appraisle, to beat the tax, will get you in trouble as soon as you Ins. it for actual value!!!!

Can't see how that would be conceived to slow down "flipper" sales, as it seem most flippers just don't register the car in their name.  It only hurts the honest guy who may buy a car then want to sell it because he changed his mind, or found one he likes more, or has to sell it because his financial situation changed, etc.  The true reason for adding the sales tax to private sales is... ding ding ding... more tax dollars to throw around!

FWIW, in NS we've been paying 15% on used cars for years and years now, except for the brief period that our HST was dropped to 13% and then promptly raised back to 15 by our "wonderful" newly-elected NDP government (election coming up next month!).  To top it off, dealers have been given the advantage over the private seller as when buying from a dealer tax is only paid on the difference between the trade-in and the purchased car, whereas if you buy from a private party it's full tax no matter what the circumstances.

Don't get me started on charging sales tax on used items.... disbelief
