The original colour is wicked and fairly rare.

Thx carl & Pontiacanada. If thats close to the right colour I will probabley go with that, looks nice and havent seen too many cars that colour.Do you know what the rest of the numbers on the plate mean?Trying to keep the car as close to stock as poss, other than bolt on stuff.Modified brakes and trans on my 57 but kept all orig parts. Will do the same with the canso Thx jim

Thx Carl!Glad it didn't come up as a 4 door or Id have to do alot of modifying.I wonder if the trim code is why I have the canso emblem with the three leafs on the front instead of the louvers,Just a guess.

No, I am certain your louvres are gone because of a fender change or accident, something like that. Any 6 cyl 71737 or V8 71837 would have had them when new.

If and when I do get the proper fender louvers does anyone have a template to mark them out with? It seems like 36 holes to drill is alot, and my hands arent getting any steadier .Still have lots of time before that though.THx jim
