Got My 62 Tail lights Installed.

Got my headlight bezels and tail lights installed today. Updated avatar to show new look !!  Got an e-mail from someone regarding a fellow with four 62 parts cars, two rags and two hardtops. Front bumper goes on next. No back bumper until I find a set of rear brackets. Very exciting.

I need to be more careful. Luckily these are incredibly cheap, and there are lots of them out there.  :)

I haven't forgotten the Tin Man, but right now I'm on a different land mass. I might as well work the angles close to me before I start dealing with shipping costs or deviating to the island. The bumper brackets are not too hard to find. They don't rust, they don't break, and if they're bent, I can deal with it to some degree.

I put a wanted ad on CL and it's starting to bear fruit. I've always found it easier to buy a parts car. If Tin Man has a red 62 Parisienne driver's interior door panel, he may see me. Now THAT is not so easily found. The red front and rear convertible seats are for sure not findable, in any dimension. I'll probably have to put a mix of Pontiac and Chevrolet seats in, and cover them.......if I'm lucky......

I thought Tin Man was on the island up past Nanaimo. I must be getting confused. Guess I'd better spend a few minutes on the Google and get my head together !!   Sorry if I've sounded daft.

He is in Cobble Hill on the Island ... and I don't mean PEI.

When I get some time I'll pm you my e-mail, unless you can get it from my info page or something. I'd love to see a picture of them, if you have time one day.
