Nah, I'd pay a visit to D & D Fabrications in Michigan and get that aluminum V8 punched out. That ugly Slim Jim trans would have to go as well. Maybe a T-5 in place?

 

Did you know that the door skins on any 2-door Tempest, F85 or Buick Special were interchangeable that year? All the cars looked different and the body details were different, but the actual door skins were interchangeable.

I didn't know that, cool fact!

Makes sense as I remember reading that GM did that with the doors of all thier '59-'60 full size.   The initial stamping was shared across all the brands, but each division was allowed to stamp the door skins a second time to make the door fit their styling lines.
