1968 Impala SS427 Fastback original 4 speed project car

Following the sound advice of a seasoned CPer - the price is back to $2500.  I will look at all interesting trades.

This is great for anyone looking for a cheap original 1968 Impala SS427 4 speed fastback project car.

The car has good clear US title.  Now has a non-running partially dissassembled 396 under the hood.  Tranny case is empty (ie. no gears)

Car still has the original clutch pedals, 4 speed floor hump, 4 speed cross member, and original 4.11 posi.

Rust in usual places (quarters, fenders, trunk floor) but good frame and very restorable.  The SS427 hood, louvers, console and dash emblem are gone.

RE: 1968 Impala SS427 Fastback original Z24, Z03, double fuel line, 4 speed rolling project car $2500 obo or trade

Hi Dave,

If you part it out I would like to have first 'dibs' on the 4 speed floor hump and the clutch pedals.

Regards
Cal

Thanks Cal - I'll keep your email - but you may have to be patient as I really hope someone will get this old diamond back on the road - maybe a neat old rat rod.  Its got a nice warm cozy indoor spot for now and I really hate to part these rare cars.  Cheers

If someone wants a genuine Z24 - SS427 car - but cannot afford the crazy prices on a numbers match cars this is a great way to go.

Per the forum rules, hoping you can post a price?

He has it at $2500 in the header Geoff, just not showing in the ad.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who misses the price sometimes when it's in the header!

How much is an original SS427 hood for this car worth these days? I really like these cars & remember them well as a kid.

          1. park in driveway  2. cover with car cover/tarp  3. Swear up and down you know nothing about it
