Noop first time posting, with regards to the engine there is a story, but in short I bought the car with the engine seperate, believing, or told, the block had not been bored. After investing significant money to bring it home to New Brunswick, I find out the 396 was already bored 90K , so much for the numbers matching game, hence I built a ZZ454 Gen VI with old 781 iron heads, of coarse they are worked. However, it is not for racing, it is a street car.
Thanks for your comments, I would like some feed back or comments on the dimensions for Sport Deluxe emblems that fit on the rear 1/4 panels

          Street car ?    good for you...  here in Ontario...  they pull garbage trucks off the road for "Racing" e.g. 90km in a 60km zone...   you have a lot more room in N.B.

Nice machine...I would love to see that power plant between my fender wells.  How are you making out with finding the last of your trim. Hard to find eh??

I am looking at your cowl tag and have questions.

It appears by your tag that your car is a Custom, Granada Gold with bucket seats originally. Did you change it, or was this done before you got it? Or am I reading the tag wrong? If so---

I am NOT criticizing what you are doing if it is indeed a Custom and you are trimming it as a Sport Deluxe. It happens all the time. I happen to own a clone car as well (not a Beaumont though) and a lot of us here do.

Thanks Carl,
Well, I am using this web site as my source of information, and this is where I'll leant about my car, which is a 73617, 2 door hardtop with V8, the motor mounts which came with the car where correct for the 396 BB, I already commented on that issue!@##. You mentioned 73111 ?. Also this same registry stated A51 was an SD and being that any A51 made after Dec 1966 came with bucket seats , my floor is still the original and so are the seats which are Buckets.
I appreciate your questions, and before I continue my search for SD emblems , I would certainly welcome comment s from an authority.
Regards
Dale

Thanks Kevin;

I'll see what I can do for  pics, it is under cover right now,

It certainly filled up the tub,  before installing it, I broke it in on the dyno, it produced 550 ft-pds of torque at 2950 rpm,  if you work out the math that equates to 500 hp which I have a video off.

regards.

Dale

 How awesome is that?  The guy asks for dimensions and Carl supplies him with ones that look like they were done with a CAD package!  You da man, Carl!

Nice car, by the way!
