Looking for a 3.10:1, 9" rear gear set

As per subject heading I am looking for a 3.10:1 Ford 9" gear set. I can get new but was hoping for something less expensive as I'm trying to stretch the build budget on my 35 as far as possible and a total rebuild of the rear was not in the books.

A complete carrier assembly would be nice.

I'm in Regina.

Thanks,

Eric

p.s. I do not believe the bigger truck 9.5" or 9.75" or what ever it is designated at will work.

that's the gear I put in the coupe after I shattered the spiders in the 3.50...

it was a dog out of the hole with the 305/60/15 tire.. great legs on the highway though ... ;)

I have another differential with the 3.50:1 gear set but wanted the highway gears to drop the rpm so I could actually drive it somewhere.

Who made (makes) the 305 60 15's? That would fit the car really nice. The current 295 50 15's are a little short. I've been looking at the 285 70 15 from Coker. Other than that it's a bias ply Hoosier. Not highway friendly on a short wheel base car.

Thanks Carl. Unfortunately, those are the bigger truck ones and from what I have read don't fit the early 9" housing that I am using. However I stand to be corrected.

Yup.

My understanding is that there is not enough clearance in back of the early housings to not rub with the larger crown gear associated with the truck diff's.

BFG drag radial,   They Don't make them anymore, but I know two  brand new ones , but I think  he wants $500 for the pair...that what I was running on the Raders on the 33.

i had 255/70/15 on before that, looked too small  on an open wheel car.
