That's one way to sort out the Solstice's engine bugs.

Overpowered? Is there really such a thing? LOL biggrin

It's not exactly my style but it sure would be a sleeper.

............never liked them from day 1, too small and funny looking.  I never owned a sports car in my life.  I just like the 50's 60's style of full size cars that are made of steel and don't need a shoe horn to get into, and of coarse trucks.  But these plastic little cars just don't appeal to me .   The newest car I ever owned is my 68 Impala,  anything made after about 1972 doesn't really turn my crank .

So, you are expressing your opinion....wink  I agree

I have a neighbor who has 2  ones a Black Saturn Vue and the others a Black Soltice turbo   he thinks they are collector cars (thats what the salesman told him lol )

I also have a neighbor that lusts over his.....not for me

But I can certainly appreciate a 427 in anything, especially that small.

I think that car would be a rush to drive! Like a modern day Cobra-seat of your pants excitement.

If this is the car I think it is,

It was built by Wall's Rod and Custom which is located just outside of Winnipeg. The goal was actually 1000 hp. I used to see it in the shop when the boys at Wall's were helping me build my V6 Mustang...

This Solstice was built by Mallett Cars. Here's their website:

not my favorite car but I bet it goes like stink.I once worked for a sports car shop and try shoehorning my 6'2 into some of those lotuses and Austin healeys.Right hand drive to boot, but some of them with the rover v8 had some get up and go.Wouldn't want to hit anything cause they were half wood but fun to be had for sure.We even built a sunbeam tiger with a nascar small block in it,turned 600 horse at the wheels on the dyno.It was a customers vintage racecar.

I'm a B body fan myself, although I prefer the 70s and 80s.  I file these with Mustangs and Corvettes ... I wouldn't put on in my driveway .. but I respect it as part of the hobby.
