I saw the SCAM alert just a little to late ......to bad for me but I just wanted to let everyone to know that Chad and Sandy at CAT RESTORATIONS in BC do not tell the truth when asked direst questions about the condition of the car.............just for 1 example I asked about the interior of the car I was thinking of purchasing, the pictures that I saw mad it look pretty good, but I asked anyway. Chad said it was new. when I got it the interior was not new maybe he was referring to the tape holding the seat together, it was new. So you can imagine the rest of the car. I sold it to my body guy for about 1/3 of what I paid for the car. I took my loss and now I will go on to something else life is to short. One other problem is he did not even send an ownership that was in his name, therefore as far as Ontario MOT goes he did not have the right to sell it. Also he is not a dealer in BC

Buyer Be Ware: Results; Cat Restorations has had over six week's to respond to my complaint regarding the torn seat's & have not responded. The car was also advertised as a Pontiac 400cid which turned out to be a Chevy-350cid.Cat Restorations is nor a member of the Better Business Bureau of BC, & therefore is not concerned with it's publications of vehicles. There were two other vehicles  delivered to Sask prior to mine coming to Manitoba, & from what I heard from someone at the transport company that the people in "SASK" were very pissed at what they got.
  The condition of Cat Restoration cars are mostly rust & a lot of repairs, they are not what he says they are. I don't think Chad knows what he's buying or selling. If you can't get to look at it don't buy it, you are better going to the states & getting it before he does or one in better shape. I would not buy anything from BC unless I can see it. I hope that anyone  looking for a car will understand how pissed I am about this & will consider the ramifications of buying sight un seen. By the way the vinyl top was cancer ridden, don't trust the photo's. I hope that other people who bought from Cat Restorations will submit there dealings & what they think of their buy's. I heard from someone via email that he bought from Cat Restorations a Trans Am with a stroker 383, & when he got it there was no engine in the car. He only takes picture's of the good side of the & no others so you can't see how crappy the is.

My brother-in-law almost got sucked in three or four years ,but a little research saw the place for what it was.

This guy knows how to push all the right buttons to get you interested....

He burnt me as well , I just posted a buyer beware add in BC on him , I have a long distance plan and asked people to send me their number , I got 8 guys with similar problems , I ended up getting 1/3 of my money back from him with out polite conversations , another guy got 800 back on his 4,000 spent , it turned out sort of ok for me but I did loose , not as bad as others .
he also has another depot or something in Alberta ... yes stay away or go in person.
I also got the ownership from him if that helps.
