here is a perfect example of a rare pontiac musclecar.

while americans were only able to buy the chevrolet chevelle, canadians not only had access to the chevelle but could also buy the pontiac beaumont.

pontiac only produced 3318 2dr ht beaumonts in 1966, compared to 200000+ chevelles. 

a rare car in canada for sure...but whenever this car has been taken to any cruise event or car show in the US, it is surrounded with curious, envious onlookers.

this particular car is probably the cleanest example of a 66 beaumont in existance.

the owner, a friend of mine who i am listing this for, has owned "his baby" for over 30 years.

its is exceptionally clean and defect free.

ten years ago he replaced the quarters, doors, fenders, rockers and hood. then had it painted a beautiful red which shows no signs of age or wear.

all chrome was replaced or refurbished, the emblems were replaced as well.

a complete new black interior was installed.

the 454 engine was bored .030" and fitted with a performance cam, roller rockers, aluminum intake and 780 holley carb.

backing the engine is a 700r4 transmission, with a shift kit and a 2200 stall torque converter.

the rear end has a detroit true trac posi with 4.10 gears.

torq thrust wheels with big 29 x 18.5 mickey thompson tires complete the look.

this is a car that he built with the intention of never selling, no expense was spared.
