They were great fun to drive. Bit slow but you just kept the revs up and power shifted. My brother had one. Yellow with black pleather int.
The suspension wasn't as sporty as the looks, German Buick 70's style. It got banged up pretty good by my sister in law. I got for a buddy of mine to try and restore after that. It never did get done.

I don't know anything about Opel's (other than it was a GM division in Europe), but the car looks to be in pretty good shape, and seems like a decent deal.   Is it a metal or fiberglass body?

 Metal, and they rotted badly. A friend of mine had one in the late '70s, and it was already rotting away.

This hard to find Opel GT is a rust free original car that is in terrific shape inside and out. The car rides and drives great and everything works as it should including all of the guages and electrical components. Was recently used as a daily driver. Car is in mint shape. Runs great. It has been sitting in my garage mostly. Turn the key and go.  Head turner. Very rare find in this condition. E-mail me if interested. Trade for a Harley Road king or other interesting trade will be considered or cash is prefered. Take a look at the car! Be realistic, you wont find one like this. serious inquiries only
