1969 Beaumont Build...

This is a build I did on my 69 Beaumont...  I know it's pretty highly modified, so be warned.

Awesome car....11 out of 10      very nicely done      a true restomod     I love the stock look with the modern upgrades

 The engine compartment is killer......

If it were mine...  I would change the steering wheel and remove the snow plow       but those are little things....

Great job

Thank you all so much for your kind feedback. It was a fun build, lots of little details. It is so nice to get such positive feedback for the Beaumont other people who know and appreciate them as much as I do. Thanks again everyone...

The frame is a stock one from a southern 69 Chevelle. It has been fully boxed, re-welded and braced. The suspension was upgraded to adjustable coil overs front and rear. '02 Camaro brakes were adapted to give it 4 wheel disc. All of the control arms are Global West, modified for the suspension changes. Ridetech tall spindles and Strong arm anti roll bars were used and the rear control arm bushings were replaced with Johnny Joints. Despite all the extra hardware and stiffening this Beaumont rides surprisingly smooth.

I think you guys did an amazing job transforming a classic into a modern show car. Did you ever consider building one to road race, ala Targa Newfoundland version? A great way to showcase your talents and have a ball driving the wheels off  a resto mod, Canadian style!
