Oh boy, I sure know that car as it came out of Morris a few years back, and one of our CP members is friend of the person who bought it out of Morris. I had heard it sold at least one more time after that.

Going to be hard to hide that car from the car crowd, it's pretty unique.

That will make the second MIA 65 Acadian I know of in Winnipeg. About 1980, I ran a 65 Sport Deluxe as a bracket car. I ended up putting it back to street trim, sold it to a friend of mine and it was stolen from his apartment block in south Winnipeg one summer day, never to be seen again. I still check out every Acadian hardtop I see that could be it, but no luck so far. Unless it's been completely redone, there's a few things that would help me identify it easily.

I wonder, why the dude would not call the RCMP,   instead of a Kijiji ad ??

When I sold it, the car was silver. The original colours on it were red, black guts.

There are a number of things on that car that I could easily spot to identify it as my old car. I won't disclose those details online because you just never know, I may still find it one day and I sure don't want anyone to be able to remove the telltale signs.

Cool car for sure, but not so cool news.

I sure hope this all gets sorted out. I was looking forward to seeing that car back in action.

Yes it's the one that was for sale a year or two back... I helped the previous owner install the front clip and modify the inner fenders. He lost interest at that point and sold it.
Hope it turns up for the current owner.
