CHEVY/GMC LONGHORN side moldings NOS

A friend has a stash of NOS body side moldings for a Chevy/Gmc Longhorn truck. Longhorns were sold from about 1969-1972 and have a 6" longer box. He had one he was going to restore and ordered all the body side trim from G.M. many years ago but life problems got in the way. They are new in the wrappings and would be a find for the right person restoring one of these trucks. I'm posting a link to the Kijiji ad to try and help generate some interest.

Thanks

Randy

So these are the woodgrained versions that came on 69-70 CST trim & 71-72 Cheyenne / Cheyenne Super trim. They also did them in black trim for the Custom trim 69-70 & Custom Deluxe trim 71-72.

The Longhorn was offered only with Camper Special equipment and would have carried a "Custom Camper 20" (or 30) namplate on the front fenders in place of the various other trim nameplates (C/20, Custom 20, Custom Deluxe 20, CST 20, Cheyenne 20 etc...). The base trim level Longhorn carried none of the moldings but at least carried the "Longhorn" nameplates at the rear sides of the box.

Back then the 1-ton series 30 pickup truck came only with 9' Stepside beds until the Longhorn (Custom Camper).

Right, wood grain insert inside the wide lower, but a less wide molding along the top, no wood grain, both running basically front to back. Your pictures show the lower moldings in black, not the upper.

Thanks

Appreciate it timbuck!! Certainly a score for the right person but there aren't many of those I guess. Someone mentioned they are the same as regular long box moldings with an extension but I haven't opened any up to check it out. Cab parts are no doubt the same??

Thanks
Randy
