Looked up parts numbers for the P O N T I A C letters.
The 58 thru 69 catalog shows in the index only part numbers 8778547 thru 8778552 ( does not show 8778546 ) in the index as being in group 12.182
When I go to group 12.182
P = 8720014 ( as a replacement number )
O = 8778547
N = 8778548
T = 8778549
I = 8778550
A = 8778551
C = 8778552
for a 69 Pontiac Laurentian ( 755/756 ) trunk lettering
When I go to the diagrams near the beginning of the book it shows
P = 8720014
O = 8720015
N = 8720016
T = 8720017
I = 8720018
A = 8720019
C = 8720020
for a 69 Pontiac Laurentian.
Now when I go to the 65 thru 76 catalog it shows for 69 Laurentian and 70 1st jobs
P = 8702903
O = 8702904
N = 8702905
T = 8702906
I = 8702907
A = 8702908
C = 8702908
Back to the original question. I would say they are 69 Laurentian trunk letters.
Wow.......I did own a 69 Pontiac but was sure I sold that car complete............
according to my records that was June 1974.......5 yrs old and wrecked......hmmmm???
Thanx for looking those numbers up Ted.......

I got my emblem today and must say it was packaged excellent. The emblem was as described but the packaging was first class, I could use another if you ever come across one. I've had people mail me emblems in an envelope before, not a good thing!! I couldn't make out how much the postage was, but if you come up short, just have my cousin 427 Carl cover the balance.
Thanks Randy
