It was originally a south west USA car. When Hillar got it it had a white painted roof with chrome trim and full wheel covers and whitewalls. I've driven that car, it is a man's car, that 4 speed requires muscle. Of all of Hillar's cars this was my favourite.

Here is a shot of it being taken to Winter storage in 2009.

I'd say a very good buy, nice clean GTO, not over resto'd. A good friend is original owner of same car with auto.
A/C is nice extra. The 400 really gets that car down the road.

We already offered her $50,000 for this car, the Green Monster, the El Camino and Cutlass. Remember every car was in storage and not driven for 15 years or so. The El Camino was sitting in a pool of engine oil, the Cutlass full of mould, this GTO had no brakes or dash pad. I think they were insulted by the offer.

1968 Pontiac GTO 400 4 - speed, numbers matching car. All original, no rot or bondo, straight body. Engine and transmission run perfect, no problems. Interior is all original as well and in very good condition. All electrical is working. Solid frame, floors and engine bay. Car has A/C compressor and radio works.
