That's pretty sweet.

Not nit picking - but is that rocker trim correct? I though the Beaumonts all had the smooth rocker trim and some of the Chevelles had the ribbed trim.

And excuse the ignorance, but asking is how I learn. Aren't the gills supposed to be stainless/chrome?

ribbed rocker moldings with gray/frosted insert are correct - black on a chevelle SS, gills/louvers are body color with the rear edge chrome

I'm going to put the optional SD stripe on it too ! come on 6/49 !

I have seen the car a couple of times and yes it is very nice. He has toyed with selling it for awhile as he usually has a for sale sign on it at shows with a pretty good price. Think it may be from the coast.

Say you're standing on a football field. You're blindfolded and holding a pin. A friend has released an ant on the field. Your chance of piercing that ant with your pin is about the same as winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot. One in 14 million. Not exactly a sure bet.    sorry

no chance of piercing the ant without a pin.....1 in 14 million is still better than zero chance without a ticket.

65 K? You've got to be kidding me...can someone out there tell me just how out of line that is? Or is it? He had it at 70 then recently dropped it. I'm bit of a newbie to big block muscle car buying, but...wow how can I ever own one?

Buckets / no console / column shift TH400. Power Windows! Oddball! Combine that with very low production and very nice condition and you never know what it might bring. Barret-Jackson-itis disease is still out there and if I were selling, I wouldn't give it away for someone else to flip either.

I saw photos of the car about a year ago, and parts of the frame had surface rust and evidently were not painted/restored. I didn't think the resto appeared to be as thorough as it could be.

I watched the Ebay auction on this car very closely... Bidding maxed out at 50K-USD (the reserve price wasn't met). I've seen this car at the Penticton show in 2011. The owner was asking 74K obo (that's probably close to the total amount of $$$ he had invested into it)

Interesting that on the GM VVS document it lists the dealer as Motors Insurance Company of Vancouver. Was this a conventional bricks and mortar dealership or was this an insurance replacement for a claim?
