those are 1968 / 69 fenders... 1971 would have had the longer marker lights with engine size above them on 8 cyl. cars and that's a '69 hood emblem

very nice looking car

i might  be  wrong  ........again  , but  engine  size   was  on  a red  V 8  tag  on the   fender  on those acadians.....

and  those  fender  side marker  do  look like    68  69   ,  they  where  longer  in  1970  and  1971

so  i dont buy  the  ::::    original  from   bumper to  bumper :::  in  the  add

I just got back from Vancouver and haven't really been online.

First thing I noticed were the 68-69 front fender marker lights (clear in 68, amber in 69). The front bumper is correct though, with the larger square turn signals.

Chrome window frames were offered separately but were usually ordered together with the bodyside moldings (Decor Group).

A 307 car in 71 would not have any numerals on the front fenders, but a 1971 350 Acadian would use  the same numerals as the 70-74 Nova plus 69 Camaro.

I remember seeing a fairly new 1971 Acadian coupe in Hamilton. It was root beer colour and had the standard dog-dish hub caps. The correct hubcaps would be just like the baby moon hubcaps with a red maple leaf in the center - very rare. They were only used on the 1971 Acadians, and the 71 models had a short run before being replaced with the Ventura II.

Trivia: 1968 Acadians and 1971 Acadians used the same Acadian body side and hood emblem, although the 1968 hood emblem had black lettering and 1971 had red.

Thanks
Randy

I bet that is the same car from Cardomain. The fenders I suspect would have been swapped out with repros thus the side marker difference. Looks good otherwise. Very nice to see it wasn't cloned into a NOVA!
